Privacy Policy
Our commitment to your privacy isn't just policy—it's our core architecture. Zero telemetry. Zero tracking. Zero compromise.
[TL;DR] The Short Version
We collect zero personal data. We track nothing. We store no information about you. All our applications work entirely on your device. This isn't just marketing—it's our technical architecture.
Our Privacy Philosophy
At Satoshi Ltd., privacy isn't an afterthought or a feature—it's the fundamental architecture of everything we build. Inspired by cypherpunk principles, we believe that privacy is a human right, not a privilege to be sold.
We operate under a simple principle: What we don't collect can't be stolen, sold, or subpoenaed.
What We Don't Collect
This list is comprehensive because we believe in radical transparency:
- Personal Information: No names, emails, phone numbers, or addresses
- Device Data: No device IDs, hardware specifications, or system information
- Usage Analytics: No app usage patterns, feature usage, or behavioral data
- Location Data: No GPS coordinates, IP addresses, or location-based services
- Biometric Data: No fingerprints, face scans, or voice recordings
- Financial Information: No credit cards, bank details, or transaction history
- Social Data: No contacts, social media profiles, or relationship graphs
- Communication Data: No messages, calls, or communication metadata
- File Data: No document contents, photos, or file metadata
- Browser Data: No cookies, browsing history, or web tracking
How Our Apps Work
Our applications are designed with local-first architecture:
Client-Side Processing
All data processing happens entirely on your device. Whether you're using Clonara for AI conversations, Split/Pass for password management, Money for finance tracking, or Nutriva for nutrition analysis—everything stays local.
No Internet Requirements
Our apps work offline by design. Any internet connectivity is solely for optional features you explicitly enable, such as cryptocurrency price updates in Money (which use anonymous API calls).
Zero Telemetry Architecture
We don't embed analytics SDKs, crash reporting tools, or any third-party tracking services. Our codebase is auditable and open source.
Website Privacy
This website (satoshi-ltd.com) follows the same privacy principles:
- No Cookies: We don't use tracking cookies or local storage for analytics
- No Analytics: We don't use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any tracking scripts
- No CDN Tracking: External resources (fonts, libraries) are loaded without tracking
- No IP Logging: Our web server logs are configured to exclude IP addresses
Legal Basis
Since we collect no personal data, traditional legal bases for data processing (consent, legitimate interest, etc.) don't apply to our operations. We operate under the principle of data minimization taken to its logical conclusion: zero data collection.
Your Rights
Under GDPR, CCPA, and other privacy laws, you have certain rights. Here's how they apply to Satoshi Ltd.:
- Right to Access: Since we store no data about you, there's nothing to access
- Right to Deletion: Since we store no data about you, there's nothing to delete
- Right to Portability: Since we store no data about you, there's nothing to export
- Right to Rectification: Since we store no data about you, there's nothing to correct
- Right to Object: Since we don't process your data, there's nothing to object to
If you have questions about your privacy rights, contact us at privacy@satoshi-ltd.com
Third-Party Services
We minimize third-party dependencies, but where they exist, we ensure they align with our privacy principles:
Open Source Libraries
We use open source libraries that run locally on your device and don't communicate with external servers.
Font Loading
We load the Doto font from Google Fonts. This may result in your IP address being logged by Google. We're working on self-hosting fonts to eliminate this dependency.
Data Breaches
Since we store no personal data, traditional data breaches that expose user information are impossible in our architecture. However, if there were ever a security incident affecting our services, we would:
- Immediately assess the scope and impact
- Notify users within 24 hours via our website
- Provide detailed technical information about what happened
- Implement additional security measures
Children's Privacy
Our zero-data collection approach means we're inherently compliant with COPPA and other children's privacy laws. We don't collect data from users of any age, including children under 13.
International Users
Our privacy practices apply globally. Whether you're in the EU, California, Hong Kong, or anywhere else in the world, we collect zero data about you.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this privacy policy to reflect changes in our practices or for legal reasons. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Modified" date. Given our zero-data architecture, changes are typically clarifications rather than policy modifications.
Last Modified: December 2024
